ELEMENTARY TEACHERS WANTED!
North Okanagan Junior Academy is looking for elementary teachers to join our team. NOJA is a K-9 school located 15 minutes outside of the town of Armstrong in the Okanagan Valley. Armstrong is a friendly community with a beautiful trails network, bustling downtown core and peaceful family-friendly atmosphere.
Our motto is “Educate the mind. Engage the heart. Experience Jesus.” The successful candidate will have the privilege of being part of a growing school with a team of staff that are committed to Adventist Christian education.
The ideal candidate will:
hold a Bachelor of Educator Degree
be eligible for BC and NAD certification
be able to legally work in Canada
be a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
be passionate about teaching children in a creative, collaborative and engaging manner
be organized and able to use the BC provincial learning objectives to create lesson and unit plans that are imaginative, project-based and comprehensive.
